So this morning I received a fabulous "Totally random" email...

This is a prime example of how you get curious about something, Google it, and then your curiosity leads your mind (far, far) away from what you should be focused on (i.e. work)...

I've been listening to "Frank Sinatra Radio" on my blackberry...a Natalie Cole song came on and I wanted to see how old she was. So, I looked her up...read about her, then her dad...then followed a link to Ella's page and decided to read up about her and found that out! So cool :)

This epitomizes the reason I started this blog! Thanks to Chanson That for the curiosity!

Starbucks

I had a horrible morning commute and decided to cheer myself up with some Starbucks…

Instead of telling the barista what she wanted, the woman behind me handed him an opened envelope.

I couldn’t see her order, but thought in my head “sheesh, high maintenance much? She probably wants non-fat this, extra pump of that, 3 ice cubes, no foam, and whatever other extra options are available. I guess it’s just easier to hand it to him already written down”

Then it’s her turn to pay. And the cashier tries to sign to her…

…yes I’m a jerk…and I was also ticked at myself b/c I couldn’t find my gift card and spent $4.74 on a FRAPPUCCINO in FEBRUARY…

Dinner

For dinner tonight I had a bag of butter popcorn and fruity pebble treats. It was delicious :)

My Blog About Other Stuff...

I’ve often been curious about writing a blog… I tried my hand at it with my wedding planning, and feel I did a fairly decent job…originally I was afraid I would either forget about it or go weeks without writing. At times, I did go weeks without writing… but you know what? That’s ok!

Admittedly, I am a blog stalker… and I might get just a little peeved when people don’t update regularly… but then I remember – um – people have actual lives – and it doesn’t always involve telling the world what you’re doing on a daily basis…

My other concern with starting a blog was “my life really isn’t that interesting” so I probably wouldn’t have much to say… and THEN I decided with as much stalking and random google searches as I do, I could save Donnie from the random emails and texts that he gets :) and share them with anyone who’s curious to read random facts/stories/blah blah blah…

So without further ado… I present to you “My blog about other people, things, and the like…”
